Hi,
I sent off my original letter trying to reclaim PPI charges but have has a letter back saying that they are not regulated by the FSA (I am in Jersey, does this make a difference) and saying that they believe that they did advise that the product was optional, that I signed the agreement and therefore I had read, understood and accepted the terms& conditions of the agreement. Also, if I can prove that I had alternative cover for loss of life, accident, sickness and involuntary employment they would be willing to review that aspect of my claim.
What should I do, can anyone help?
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Michelle
I would contact the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) for some advice on this one.
Even though the FOS are unable to investigate a complaint who were not regulated, they may be able to give advice on how to deal with this one.

Good luck, please keep us posted.
