I had the same problem, but I noticed everytime mine went off there was someone at a door across the street so I think both must have been on the same frequency. Ive since changed the frequency and doesnt do it as often but still happens every now and again.Comping again0

Posties come and posties go - maybe your next one won't be so seriously flatulent. Unfortunately there will still be all the other electrical causes mentioned above so it probably won't help you.He said it was the wind that for some reason with wireless doorbells, it caused them to ring, he got this a few times walking down the road.0 -
I have the same doorbell, I bought it about 7 months ago for £3 and so far no probs, havent had to change the batteries and it has worked perfectly. That is untill today...... suddenly a strange tune came from the kitchen and when I got to the kitchen the noise stopped but the light on the reciever was flashing. I have the bell ringing sound but the sound coming from the doorbell was a completely different tune. I assumed it was interferance from someone elses doorbell or key remote but couldnlt understand how another tune was coming from it as I could find no switch to change the tune. It kept going off all afternoon so I was about to call in the ghostbusters but thought I'd check the sender (door bell button) inside there are numbers 1-4 which you can mess about with to make sure you are not on the same wavelength as a neighbour. next to these is a small black button, you'll need a pen to be able to press it and as you do the tune changes. there are about 8 diferent tunes.0
