Hi guys n gals hope your all well and hope you can offer me some advice
Ive been a lurker on here for a while now mainly looking at money saving tips as i recently lost my job
.
Anyways a little about my quiery. I signed up to a T-Mobile UFIX 15 contract about 6 years ago. It was a bad mistake because at the time i was spending £100+ a month topping the damn thing up so i decided to leave the number and join three which had a good deal on. I let the contract run and i then rang to cancel the T-mobile contract when it was finished. I thought all was well and to be fair didnt ask for a pac code as i was already on a new number. I recently lost my job so ive taken control from my wife off my bank account again to see where i can make cut backs on things associated with my old job etc like subscriptions to services i used. On studying my statements i was shocked to see for the past 4 years t-mobile have been taking £15 a month for a phone number ive never used and was unde rimpression i had cancelled!!! Offcourse i should have known with it being my account but my wife assumed it was for a work number
So the question is is there any way i can actually redeam the money they have taken from my account? Or as im in the market for a new phone Samsung Galaxy do i have any leeway to get a contract massivly reduced? I have to ditch three as the signal has become unusable in my new home.
Any advice greatfully recieved

Of course there is a way.
You need to dig out any written evidence that you cancelled your contract - old email, copy letter etc.
If you can't do that, then you will need to practice your begging technique with the network. You are honest enough to admit that it is your fault and can only rely on goodwill if you have no evidence of cancellation.
(Expect a non-helpful raft of criticism about failing to check your bank statements, money to burn etc etc if the forum runs true to form !;))0 -

haha believe me i know how ridiculous ive been with my money. Ive not been so much reckless just my old job included a lot of travelling and my wife looked after the money in our household. In a non sexist way offcourse...just seemed ideal for her to have access to my account for bills and any house hold money whilst i was away.
As for the evidence it most likely was lost when we moved.Surely however there usage moniters will tell the phone hasnt been used. Like i say my final bill was over £100 and then it would have been £15 right up intill this month

Might be worth putting it in writing to their customer relations team, stressing the lack of usage. They will take no time at all to see that the sim has not been used, best of luck!0
