You will find it almost impossible to get a monthly contract for at least a few years yet.:pB&SC No. 298

What happens if you're on a contract when you go BR - does it get terminated? Or can you continue - oh gosh, does that mean I'm stuck on 3 forever!!!0

I kept my Orange contract through my BR and a lot of others on here have kept their mobile contracts too. No need to tell them - they won't mind as long as they're getting paid.0

It may be down to whom does the credit check, it may be harder via a multi network store seller rather than the actual network store.
I have been turned down by CPW/phones 4u but accepted by o2 (with a deposit) and 3 (no deposit) whilst on a dmp in the past.0 -
problem is as well..NO consistency what one person manages to get isnt always a guarantee someone else will
took me nearly 3yrs before I managed a contractWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Wrong.
I got an iPhone 3GS on contract 3 months after discharge.
Had to pay a £100 deposit to 02, which is refunded after 3 months.
not quite wrong....all i'll say is your one of the lucky ones
(good luck with the deposit as well..known o2 in the past to be a total pita when it came to refunding it)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

My o2 deposit was a pain to get back in the past, the shop did say after 3 months it would automatically be re-credited (it wasn't!) and I had to highlight the fact to customer services to get it back!!!0 -
Yes,
I got one with Virgin recently, with no deposit.

I failed the credit check with 3 about 6 months ago, (2.5yrs now after BR) but planning on trying somewhere else soon.0
