Perhaps the British electorate learned the lessons of the C20th and aren't prepared to voted for a failed ideology any more.0 -
Did Cameron guarantee the winter fuel payment on those televised debates? The Treasury is reviewing what it spends on welfare for the middle classes, such as the winter fuel allowance and child benefit.
Such payments would continue to be available but future increases could be frozen, the BBC understands.see what I mean about the big boys and their weasel words, the LibDems are amateurs at this.

The day I meet a poor elected politician, struggling to make ends meet, will be the day *any* of them get my respect. Personally I find the Libdems not much better than a shower of s***. Is it me, or is it anywhere they have had a sniff at local power they've blown public money on mad traffic calming islands, bus stop upgrades and road humps?0

Read the history of Lloyd George. He saved the country but destroyed the Liberal party.
Nick Clegg parted company with the Lib-Dems the moment he walked through the door of number 10. He's on his personal tryst with destiny - the rest of his party are already past history. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. how about these polls that take them from 31% to 13% now

regarding the joke comment - it's not funny that the Lib Dems have lost over 60% over their voters...
