Decorating your dorm

Now that everyone has started uni (or about to start soon) I was wondering whether anyone knew of cheap ways to decorate your dorm uniquely other than just film posters. I'm going for that ethnic Indian feel, I've already got the candle feel going and some fabric-anymore ideas? I'm sure other people would like to know too…
