If you don't take control of this, who do you think is going to? You have to be responsible, your child is depending on you.0 -
Could you not go and stay with relatives?
You really need to think about your baby and yourself now you two are the main priorities xDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I am shocked at your HA response to you! This is domestic abuse / violence and they should have strict procedures in place for dealing with this sort of thing.
At the very least call your local womens aid (links at the top of this page). You don't have to stay with this man, get out now please. If he is threatening violence and has pushed you he could just get worse. This is not your fault hun xx0 -
Hi
Tomorrow you need to write to or go in and hand in a letter which states that you are withdrawing your notice and are remaining in the property - This is your legal right. Do not leave the office until you have sorted the situation.
It does not matter that your house has been offered to someone else, any offer made to a perspective new tenant is done on the proviso that you may decide not to leave.
If you need any help let me know.

You are the mother of a baby - you have responsbilities to this child - and - as you were told previously - GO!
What is keeping you ? Do you want to be a statistic of the failure of the NHS/SS to look after the vulnerable? Get out - worry about where you will live later!0 -
Please contact Shelter, they will help you with the issue of withdrawing your notice to quit and hopefully have strong words with the HA over their downplaying of the domestic violence aspect of your case.
The threat of physical violence is classed as domestic violence - you can be a victim of domestic violence without actually being physically assaulted and your HA should actually be clued up on this and have specific procedures in place. Womensaid and Shelter should be your first telephone calls in the morning.
