    Yes
Now this thread makes me giggle because I seemingly have an opposite situation. Neither myself nor my husband really buy magazines but from time to time when I buy them (at the airport for holiday etc), I ask DH if he would like Nuts, FHM or similar and he always says no he can't stand those magazines. I find this odd and always laugh. I thought maybe he was trying to make me feel good or maybe he was embarrassed but we've been together 5 yrs and I've made it quite clear I couldn't care less if he 'reads' them but he never bothers. In fact, he's more likely to pick up my magazines and read the celebrity gossip or real life stories! lol

In the past, with ex partners who read these mens magazines, I've always picked them up and had a look thru them myself. Most of the stuff in them makes me burst into giggles.

I truly have no problem in my hubby looking at these magazines - he just won't! I'm guessing he probably would look thru one if it was lying about at work or in a pub or something!!! Or maybe he's just odd!!!

I would never dream of not allowing my husband to read what he wanted. However if he was the type of man who wanted to read them he wouldn't be my husband. Just in the same way that if I was the type of woman who read Heat or similar I wouldn't be someone he would have married.

    I dont care
Mr Pixie can view nuts/fhm/zoo or any other magazines of that type if he wanted too. At the end of the day it's only a magazine and its only airbrushed photos.

To be honest I find most magazines totally tedious. FHM etc are no more offensive than Cosmo and the like.

They're all about telling you you're not good enough/rich enough/sexy enough and need to buy xyz *yawn*.

Not buying magazines is moneysaving on many levels. :D

  • Would I be miffed if my hubby bought men's mags? In a word no!

There are far more things to be worried about then things like that. If man wants to look he will, if man wants to touch he will, There is nothing woman can do about it. Don't spend time worried about it -

He doesn't buy the mags but he does 'browse' online.. so long as I still get my bit of attention and know he still loves me I don't care.. I don't even mind him eyeing up the pretty women we pass in the street.. I think I may be a little offended if he turned to me and said he would 'do her'.. but a bit of window shopping never killed anyone .. :p

    Thanks for the replies,

Mrs Alias commented earlier that she thinks i maybe thinking of 'those girls' when were having some bedroom fun. When i moved in with Mrs Alias a few years ago, she deleted all the 'flith' i had on the laptop, and removed the 'XXX' mags that i was given years ago. Since then this area, its been pretty much a no-go area.

The initial complains came from a thread which was created on another mans car forum, where it was asked to post your best facebook friend picture. Something which turned into a thread where apparently 'hot' women were posted, and i complained on the thread that there was more talk than pictures.

If i view my facebook account, and view some of the profiles on there, i get 20 questions. Alot are old MSN contacts, from when i was single.

I am married, we have 3 children and we will simply move on. We've been through this before, though this one wont be swept under the carpet easily.

Oh dear. Sorry mate but mrs Alias sounds a bit scary and weird to me...

    I dont care
I have had more thoughts on this. I think Mrs Alias is probably a bit insecure. Has she been cheated on before or had a partner who would rather look at !!!!!! than her??

I ddon't think it's scary weird I just think there is an underlying issue that she has not fully resolved despite now being married to Mr Alias.

Sorry whatever about the rest but this is so bloody disrespectful. If I ever found out that one of my friends had taken a picture of me and posted it on some internet forum for any reason I would hurt them. Badly.

I dont know how to answer, because while i wouldn't care if he did buy them, my inner insecurity would be screaming.

I have read them sometimes when at my dads house, the jokes are funny :D

DH doesn't care for them anyway, when he's looking at topgear mag in Tescos i jokingly ask if he's looking at the naked ladies and he'll say no and how he isn't bothered in them mags as the girls are fake.
(then he usually compliments me, but i think thats to get me to agree to the purcahse of top gear mag... :rotfl:)
