T Mobile Have dropped friends/family discount

I have been using friends and family half price deal for nearly 4 years now.

Im under the impression that its for life? The friend who did it for me left that company years ago and iv had several upgrades/renewals since.

I don't go to the store to do upgrades, I phone Tmobile and request to make sure they apply the friends and family discount to my new contract as well.

I hope nothings changed anyway.

I work for a mobile phone network (not T mobile) and our discounts end at the end of the contract if we leave- If we have a 30% discount on an agreement that ends in Feb, the discount runs until then, but if the friend/family member wants to keep the contract they have to negotiate their own discount after that.
Having said that, I'm sure the discount is part of the contract if it has already been applied before the member of staff leaves- you have no control over your cousin leaving their job- so as long as it was applied before they left it should be fine. If you took the contract after they left though, I dont think you stand much of a chance.
Seems fair enough really, I dont know of any network that lets you keep them even if you leave... I could be wrong though!

Hi. the contract was taken out Dec 2010 and its a 18month c the relation left after i had taken out the contract as confirmed by a TM customer service agent.
