o2 iPhone Contract Reduction Possibility
Hi all,
I spoke with o2 recently about reducing my contract down.
I am not sure the girl on the phone had the correct info but she said I could drop all the way down to £10 per month.
Still the usual 1 tier per month rule.
But at £10 per month I could take out a Simplicity iPhone deal and be better off.
Does anybody know if what she said is true?
I'm on £35 per month so it would go:
£35 > £30 > £25 (iPhone contracts) > £15 > £10 (Standard o2 contracts).
I have 10 months of contract left so costs would be:
Month 1: £30 (Drop down to iPhone £30, probably go a few pounds over on minutes).
Month 2: £40 (£25 + £15 iPhone Simplicity as the £25 doesn't offer enough minutes).
Month 3: £30 (£15 o2 + £15 iPhone Simplicity).
Month 4: £25 (£10 o2 and £15 iPhone Simplicity).
...
So assume I stick at £35 per month that's £350 for the remainder of my contract.
If I switch around as above then the remaining 10 months will come in at £275.
