That's one hell of an earring!!I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I do hope that the health authority are sending a bill to the land managers for their time and staff costs. Anybody with an ounce of decency or common sense would not have clamped that car and would have waited and spoken to the "offender" to find out if they were genuine. What next, clamping an ambulance, fire engine, police car or hearse because they don't have a permit. Hitting the employing organisations is the only way that these clampers are going to be reined in as they are bound to be planning to up their game to make as much as possible before they are curtailed by the impending changes. I also hope that the head of the health board will be speaking to the chief constable as if you were to interfere with an ambulance or fire professional in the course of their duty you would likely find yourself locked up pretty sharpish. Why should this be any different.0

This is the kind of scum those clampers are. You say they'd clamp a hearse, well read this.

I liked this bit in the article
and the dateMoves to regulate private wheel-clamping firms are set to be introduced as part of a new Private Security Industries Bill, expected to be announced in Wednesday's Queen's Speech.
How many millions have these companies made due to Labour's inaction :mad:Tuesday, 5 December, 2000, 07:20 GMT0 -
An old article, but shows no one is safe from the scammers:

Bloody hell what a thing to do, if you want a reason to ban clampers here are two in this thread.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
