  • I've decided to pay the last of my sofa off on Tuesday. Only £76.73 left and I think it'll do me good to get rid of another creditor. It'll mean I'll need to pay a little less to Bcard this month but it'll be another loose end tied up.

I'm feeling a little Fed up with it all again tonight. Maybe once I start making this month's payments I'll feel better :)
    I'll get there!
  • First NSD of the month. Got in late and was seriously tempted to order pizza, but I didn't! :j Had all the left over bits out the fridge, quite enjoyed it (and didn't feel so guilty about the creme egg I had after it!)

Spent the evening looking at this months bills, updating my spending/bills diary. Daydreaming about the day I am credit card/overdraft debt free :D

Found a few things I can list on Eb*y, I just hate doing it :o

Also decided, once I've got Bcard down to 3,900 (means I'm not paying interest) I'm going to throw everything at the other CC because I'm sure the 0% runs out in May (It was opened in May, I don't think I used it until August) Should really phone up and ask but grudge paying the phone rates!

I need to find a hobby for the evenings, they are such a drag without my credit card/new DVD's/junk food/wine....

  • Nsd 2 :)

I have been so tempted to do my food shopping on my credit card this weekend (I get 'paid' on Tuesday) Reasoned with myself that I've enough bread, milk, eggs and cheese (not much you can't make with those ingredients!)to last me one more day.

I WILL wait until Tuesday when I can pay in cash! :money:

    Planned spending today:

    £4.95 slimming club
    £10 travel to Dentist
£120 Dentist bill (it's cosmetic :o and the last bill/appointment)

I can't go over this because it's all I've got!

    Happy Monday :)

Hi Beanielou :) How are you?

Yeah, I probably would be cheaper but never have the money on a Monday to buy a countdown :o

Good news! Dentist waived the £120 (because the whitening I paid for didn't work very well, he's also made new trays up and sending more bleaching gel - for free!)

Now, what to do with this 'spare' money??

Option 1: Throw it to my Bcard? (I've got £299 which is being charged at 29.9%, I have planned on paying off £200 of it throughout the month anyway. Rest, £3902, charged at 0% until January 2014)

Option 2: Throw it at the other credit card? 0% for another two months at least, balance about £1,709.

Option 3: Reduce my £300 overdraft (interest free but with a £2.50 fee each month)

Option 4: Split it between boys' savings accounts (would bring their balances up to almost £100 each, I'll not be able to make such a big payment to their accounts for a long time)

I know it's not a huge amount but it is to me, feels like free money almost! Or I could put it away for emergencies? Problem is I don't feel I can trust myself to have it sitting there available to me. I might create a clothes emergency and spend it :rotfl:

My head is telling me bcard, it would be good to get it down to completely interest free. But I don't know!x

Yes, I think I will send it to Bcard. Didn't pay off my sofa today, only £41 of it, means I only have £32 to pay - which I will on Thursday along with the minimum for credit card 2.

Paid £63 odds to Bcard this morning, balace now down to £4178 ish (well, when it comes off the balance, wish it would do it instantly!)

Also had quite a spendy day, bought us a bakery lunch only £4 for the 3 of us. Did a bit of shopping, mostly cleaning stuff - did get 90 Fini$h dishwasher tablets for £7.99. It was all things we needed and it's been budgeted for.

I *think* I might be able to get into the £9k zone this month, only just mind you!! Wonder what that will feel like?! :D
