I promise!
The move has been held up because of workmen, typical! But tomorrow's the big day. Van is hired and, weather pemitting, we should be in and settled for December!
Couple of problems though! I've no idea where MrP has 'packed' our modem and we have more debt  BUT more income to, so it'a not a complete disaster, yet! It's going to take me forever to update my diary, but I'm going to because if this month has taught me anything it's this: I still have a lot to learn about money saving and I need to keep the lightbulb on if I'm going to be debt free!
On a more positive note, I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant now and my toddles is turning into a total charmer, a proper little star. He's been so so good with all the upheaval, taken everything in his stride and I'm so proud everytime someone compliments his good behaviour! I so want to be debt free for him, and BabyPenny. I want to treat them to things that we've saved for and not dreading the monthly statement everytime we buy something.
Anyhow, I'm just popping on to let you all know I'm still here and think about moneysaving alot (just not a lot of debt busting happening at the moment!) I will be back on as a full time forumite very soon :TI'll get there!0 -

Almost my Flying Friend! I've had a quick look at your diary, good stuff paying off the loan! I'll get more time once we're in our new house to catch up!
I've only managed to get peace because everyone else is away out for the night! I'll be feeling very smug tomorrow when they're all nursing hangovers and I'm shouting my orders! I can't wait to get my own space again, re-living with my parents, as a married Mummy with her own ways of doing things, is not good! :rotfl:I'll get there!0 -
Oh and I have sucessfully managed to spend money every single day since Oct 20th. I need to get back on the wagon! :jI'll get there!0

Definatley! And if you still have the swallow necklace....I'm hoping to get through to the German Market at some point in December- just to look....
Snow's been pretty bad here, I'd imagine you've had a bit to. Toddles loved it today, rolling about like a polar bear! I was not loving it so much!xxI'll get there!0 -

It's good to be back, properly!
A quick update, had BabyPenny, a beautiful baby boy. He's 10 weeks old today and gorgeous! I've spent the first half of this year a nit unhappy (nothing in particular, just blue) and went a bit credit card crazy - resulting in it being maxed out and it's unlikely I'm going to be able to make this months repayment. I have spoken to them, but I need to wait until after the payment due date, I've managed to pay 1/4 of what's due.
Anyhow! I've got Baby into a routine now, so my nights are once again free! (well, until the broadband provided cuts us off, because I haven't paid the bill, £77 for the quarter, due yonks ago) Financially, this has been the worst month I've ever had. Bills just seem to be adding up and I can't stop spending what little money we have. It's not even on things for myself! My lightbulb is still on, just a lot dimmer than I was to start with. I know I need to knock this on the head and I need MSE to help me.
Tonight I'm going to re-familiarise myself with the site and try to catch up (well, as much as I can!)xxI'll get there!0 -
