Can i have some help with this phone please as got a couple of things that i need to know

Its running Adroid on it and i would like to know where do i find widgets for Apps that i have downloaded?

Also i have put handcent sms from market place but how do i make it so when i get a text how do i stop the text thing thats all ready on the phone from working as when i get a text im getting a new text icon for both the phone one and handcent but i want it to just be handcent.

Also mine has got the 2.1 update part 1 where on the phone can i check for any other updates?
