What is the best way to sell a banger?
Or is it worth it?
My 98' Fiat Cinquento runs fine but its a little old and dented and scratched etc. It was great for me six months ago when i just passed and needed something that may or may not get a bit bashed but now Im sharing cars with my OH.
Whats the best way to sell a car that aint much to look at, aint worth a bomb but runs well and still has life left?

Try a humourous but truthful ebay description. The funny ones get linked across forums and get 10's of thousands of views giving you a better chance of selling it.0
-
Stick it in the local freeads for dirt cheap.0

If you just want rid ebay is the way to go, don't put a reserve on as it just stops people bidding.Nothing to see here, move along.0

Register with fiat forum and stick it in the classifieds there0

eBay, freeadds, nothing to stop you putting it in more than one place!
Either that, or somebody is always looking for a "cheapie" just ask around, friends of friends etc.

We sold an old Ford Escort several years ago by placing an ad in the local free ads paper. Was nothing to look at but still drove ok. It had some tax and MOT (couple of months) left on it which we mentioned in the ad. I was shocked when it sold the day after the paper came out...and I had about 10 more calls from interested parties over the next few days.0
