Just gotta watch out for all the numpties who are way to thick to understand that you are supposed to leave feedback, sellers like to receive f/b, it lets us know how well the buyer thought the transaction went.

I have just re-emailed 8 buyers to remind them to leave feedback. Unlike Ebid, Ebay doesn't send auto-reminder emails to non-fb leavers.

    Goodness how brave.

OP, DO NOT do this if you value your account. Feedback is nto compulsory, most of us don't worry about it at all, if we get it we get it end of story. Asking for feedback is asking for trouble.

Have you a deathwish on your Account!!

By the way Feedback is Voluntary. Just to say ebay has started sending feedback reminders there has been a few sellers who have reported on the Community boards being negged for hassling for feedback because of these auto reminders.

Personally I sell for money not for Feedback.
  • Don't do this OP.

You are likely to get negative feedback, as it is very annoying to be pestered for it.
People have their reasons for not leaving- usually when I do it's because I don't want to get into an argument because it would have to be neutral.
Feedback is entirely voluntary and no-one is "supposed" to do anything of the sort.

Especially since ebay has started sending out reminders for you which you can't turn off.

Hi, yes I agree. I just received an automated "please leave feedback" email for an item I have not used yet (saving it for our holiday next week).

I must admit, if I'm not overly impressed with a product/transaction them I don't leave feedback at all.
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

Hi OP don't ever send begging messages for feedback it annoys people and ebay do send a feedback reminder to buyers just before the time limit on them leaving feedback is about to expire around 60 days after the transaction.
I can't remember exactly what the email says but it is along the lines of be a star and leave feedback for your seller or something like that someone else is sure to remember what it says exactly though I am sure of that.

you can leave feedback whenever you like really, if you leave it promptly for them they may be mor einclined to leave it promptly for you.

As for the paypal money, it should be available to withdraw straight away.

Ah, this is probably a 21 day hold.

Your money will be held by paypal for up to 21 days or until the buyer leaves positive feedback.

It's a pain, but it's quite standard on new sellers (so not your fault).
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

Just check the transaction though, it doesn't say anything about being an echeque does it, or being held for clearing?
