  • Good for you Mike, you'll be able to make a real difference. x
  • Mike, you're right about the Echo and indeed many locals/freesheets. Their financial guidence is poor. I would like to see a column in which readers are invited to send in their SOAs and help them tackle overspending. It is, after all, the reason for so much debt.

What a great idea... But the problem there is discretion and weather people would like all and sundry printed 250k+ times....

Young people, Q&A and general education on savviness and awareness seems to be the way...

    agree ?

Good one Mike!! how about the risks involved in debt consolidation. There are adverts on all day telling you this is a good idea, without people really thinking about the pitfalls. I hate debt cons, so easy to do, so hard to get out of.

Wow, Mike that's great... I knew you would be someone to make a difference the very first time we chatted on your very first post.

And well done you, I am so proud of you, most people would be far to busy worrying about their own bankruptcy to even consider other people's issues, but you are using your experience of both sides of the money lending coin to help and educate.

Good luck, just do as Martin and the others have said, I couldn't add anything to that, you will go down a storm I have no doubt

    xx

Good.. But would a paper that has many blue chip clients selling these and advertising in the paper agree with my advice that tells them not to ?

But surely they will be potentially protected from bad debt, which can only be a good thing for them
