Twoflower - I'm so so sorry to hear your news, it's devastating
I'm glad you have plenty of support in real life and judging from the messages on here you have plenty on the board as well.
My friend lost her husband aged 29 5 weeks after their wedding, she's been helped immensely by the Merry Widows forum, it will probably be too soon but have a look anyway and remember the women on there will be there for you as well.

Anyone else suffering from headaches? I don't get them everyday but getting them more often than I ever did before, I have been drinking plenty (threw a lot of it back up today though
) so not sure if that's the reason? It is really painful, think I may have to go and take a paracetamol!
Also, just to add, I suffered with this as well - it's nothing to worry about. Paracetamol is safe so don't worry if you feel like you need to take some, or you can try 4Head - works pretty well as well although it does make your eyes sting.
Welcome Molthedoll - how exciting to be expecting twins
I've been a busy bee this weekend - finished painting the nursery, put up the chest of drawers/changing top, wardrobe and futon (for night feeds), just the cot bed to do now. I want it all done by the end of November so that we can enjoy Christmas with no stress. Also, collected a package this morning from a friend whose newborn grew out of his newborn/0-3 and most of his 3-6 month clothes already - and he's only 2 months! She's sent me an amazing amount of clothes, a breast pump, some maternity clothes and two books (one of which is the Mumsnet book I was going to buy). I can't believe how generous she's been, especially as she's an old school friend that I've barely seen since leaving (I'm 33 now!).
I went to a baby shower yesterday that was arranged by the new mum, I was expecting there to be lots of silly games etc but it was just pizzas and drinks and chatting which I much preferred. Now I feel like I can organise my own!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
