My god, it has taken me ages to order a 2-sided Airwrap cot bumper. Every online baby retailer seems to have sold out now.
(I take it they are a good investment if they are like gold dust to buy?!)

Q Anyone else have these breathable, mesh cot bumpers?

I just used normal cot bumpers. They're only not recommended for use with toddlers because they use them to stand on and climb out... There's no link between bumper use and cot death... And if you do the feet to foot position they tend to be nowhere near them anyway...

I also heard you shouldn't use cot bumpers with babies under 12 months cos of the potential for suffocation.

I'm not going to bother with them even after that. What did our mothers do without them. I'm sure if I hit my head on the cot it probably banged some sense into me :)
