Sofia Grace Tonsic arrived at 5:10am on Saturday 16th October term+5 weighing 7lb8oz
Nice quick birth, afterwards wasn't as nice due to being left and unable to do anything, by the midwifes, had to stay in til last night due to losing a tad too much blood, will do a birth story at some point
She is gorgeous and a big surprise as everybody kept telling me i was having a boy after 2 sons she is a very welcome amount of pinkness!

Knitting is quite easy, must be because I've just taught DD and she has the attention span of a gnat!
I am a novice knitter but have managed a couple of hats and bootees and really want to do a blanket so any advice/patterns much appreciated xxxxI don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Hi how do you knit your blankets do you knit each square and then sew together?
I am a novice knitter but have managed a couple of hats and bootees and really want to do a blanket so any advice/patterns much appreciated xxxx
Hi Pukka - it was a free blanket pattern on the net - I obviously swapped the pink for blue. http://www.coatscrafts.co.uk/Knitting/Projects/baby_easy_knit_patchwork_blanket.htm
I haven't knitted anything for years so thought this was nice re-introduction to it. I found it pretty straight forward and I'm not expert by any means!!
Congrats Tink - she is so beautiful!!Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
