"Which one I ordered from"? This thread is only talking about one website; e2save. That's where I ordered it from. If you meant which network, Orange.

The multiple links in the first post are all to different cashback sites, they all ultimately lead to e2save.

Sorry that is what I meant. I got a bit confused as another offer was mentioned in this thread from Mobiles,co.uk.
I use Quidco as my cashback site and have had over £1770.00 back in 4 years. Thanks again will order her one now.

Thanks. Just ordered one after looking and leaving it yesterday! Will probably recycle using quidco & Fonebank (alongwith another couple of phones lying around). Trying to make some cash for other purchases:j

I got a text this morning saying give us a call, we want more information. Was on the phone for almost half an hour. No one picked up. BOOOO!

Just had same text and phoned but didnt need to wait anywhere near as long to get an answer thankfully. My card had blocked transaction, phoned my bank and they just wanted to check all was genuine as say alot of fraud going through on cards 'under' Carphone Warehouse so just be careful & check statements. NB NOt accusing them of anything!

Lady from e2save should be phoning in few mins to just go ahead with order after me phoning bank so fingers crossed all OK.

Nokia 1661 Black, £10:90 delivered, £10 credit included, £7:50 Cashback, on Orange, which means it qualifies for Orange wednesdays, 2 for 1 on cinema tickets.

Went via Quidco, but on e2save website ('checkout') now showing as £20.95 delivered ('Phone £10.95 + £10 top-up required).:(
    If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!

    Thanks OP

I ordered one via TCB this morning. About an hour later I received a call from my credit card company checking it was a valid transaction.

I haven't had a confirmation email from e2save yet. Just hope everything's going to be ok

Have now received confirmation email :)

Just phoned e2save as lady didnt phone me back. Told the ordered has been processed now and will get delivery tomorrow. Forgot to ask about an email confirmation though as havent had one. Also worried delay due to credit card block will affect quidco cashback. Oh well, if not tracking, can always still recycle phone and have orange sim with £10 credit for very little.

    We await tomorrow....

The reason the card companies get suspicious is that they initially apply for £0.01 on the card to prove that the card is actually registered to the address given. Banks don't like this as ia very small debit from a telecoms company falls under the 'suspicious transactions' heading and triggers alarm bells.

To their credit, Santander phoned me within 30 seconds of getting a 'card blocked' message on the screen when trying to check out.

Thanks for this! I just ordered one using the Quidco link....just hope I did it right?? I signed up for Quidco months ago but have never used it until now. I just used the link you gave and ordered thru there...does that sound right or should I have done something else??

Sorry for all the ??? but Quidco seems to good to be true!!

    Thanks,

    Blue xx

Relax, Quidco are brilliant - I've made about £1200 on there over the last 18 months. :T
    Hope is not a strategy.
