Does anyone know how long top up lasts if you don't use it. Can't get hold of Chat on website. Thanks

I think it lasts just about forever on Orange if you make just 1 call every 6 months.
I know I had my original Orange phone 12 years go with £50 credit & I haven't topped up or bought more credit since.

Yep, one call or text every 6 months to keep an orange payg active - which apparently includes the free call to 453 to check your balance!

daft question but i'm on a contract with 3. Am interested in getting this purely as an Orange Wednesday phone. Do I need to get a seperate SIM? I presume this phone will not come with a SIM is that correct?

    Thanks in advance!

If it didn't come with a SIM, why would it come with £10 credit? ;) Yes, the deal is that good!

You get the phone, SIM, and £10 credit. Personally my phone was unlocked.
  • Should come with a sim for the network you have bought it through.

If the phone is unlocked (likely) you can get £10 from CeX, meaning that even if the cashback fails to track, it's cost you just 90p. They give £6 if it's locked to Orange.

    EDIT: Mine is unlocked.

Which one did you order from as I am looking for an unlocked phone to take to my sis in Switzerland next week. I could then keep the uk sim for her use when she comes home for Xmas.

"Which one I ordered from"? This thread is only talking about one website; e2save. That's where I ordered it from. If you meant which network, Orange.

The multiple links in the first post are all to different cashback sites, they all ultimately lead to e2save.

The phone should be unlocked as E2save are part of the Carphone Warehouse group.
I have had order's cancelled in the past because they limit how many you can have and check how many you have ordered across their trading group.

I got a text this morning saying give us a call, we want more information. Was on the phone for almost half an hour. No one picked up. BOOOO!

Have you ordered more than a couple of PAYG handsets from Carphonewarehouse, e2save.co.uk or mobiles.co.uk by any chance?

Apparently they have a limit (which varies depending on who you speak to) as to how many you are 'allowed' to order within a year and it's determined by address, not person. It's either two or four in 12 months. Any more and you get a text/email asking you to call.

Or it could have been something else!
