  • bigbeff Wow - that is amazing. I wish i shared that luck. But, you got to be in it to win it as they say. Spend it wisely.

hannah please don't feel disheartened about paying nothing as yet. I wasn't having a dig when i said how many had and hadn't paid. I meant it as wow - look. So much paid off and we haven't even all got started yet. Sorry if i upset you there. Keep plotting and it will come together.

    That's amazing, congratulations!

Beanie - Each number represents £100 I have left on the loan. I'm trying to break it down into chunks of £100 to make it seem more manageable. I think the numbers look horrible and really annoy me, so I have them there to make me pay it off asap to get rid of them!

Nice idea I like it :)

  • Hannah, you are doing something Hun. That's what this is about, getting off our b*tts and trying so sort out a debt. You've put this in motion so you are already off the starting blocks :)

If you're reading this thread thinking "everyone's doing do well, I must be the only one who hasn't started" take heart... Neither have I.

So far I've got advice from a charity and hopefully I am going to be put on a scheme that matches my payments to the water arrears pound for pound. I'm waiting on a reply from the charity about that though. So my 100-day challenge has so far varied the amount I owe by a big fat zero.

Just posting this as a bit of consolation for anyone sat there thinking they're the only one getting nowehere... Nope I'm right back on the starting blocks still too.
Take heart Hannah, last challenge I failed completely which is why I still have littlewoods to pay this time. I might look like I am doing great but underneath the foundations are very shakey. Having major mortgage problem now we are stuck with Woolwich messing up our payments by changing the dates and slamming us into arrears. We even had a snotty sick letter stating how much they would get from a forced sale. All this for under a month in arrears I'm .
