which shops charge for carrier bags?

I can think of Lidl, Aldi and Netto

In recent years I have noticed that a lot of the time in shops when people are asked if they want a bag they ask 'is it free'?

Superdrug tried to charge me one time but I've been in since and not been charged so not sure what their policy is.

About time they ALL charged for carriers. They should all be forced to charge at least 10p per bag until people wise up and start buying reusable ones, preferably made from rugged natural fibres so they can be composted, or at least quicker to biodegrade, when worn out.

If every store charged something like 50p a bag people would soon start using there own ones

If they charged for carrier bagsI'd be forced to buy bin bags. I take re-usable bags for my main supermarket shop but use the freebies I get in between for bin bags hence they are re-used. Would my buying bin bags be better or worse for environment. I know my purse would be worse off!
