Alcatel OT708 with 3G Sim in it???

My wife wants to get the Alcatel OT708 phone and she has a 3G orange Sim card from her old phone but as the OT708 is not a 3G phone will she be able to use her 3G sim card(she knows she wont get 3G speed)

An Orange 3G SIM or any other networks 3G SIM apart from 3 will work fine assuming the phone is either unlocked or locked to the appropriate network.

There's cheaper PAYG than Orange -have you checked out talkonline/asda/giffgaff for cheaper rates . You can check it at http://petef.22web.net/payg.html

You can get cheap memory for the phone at £4.79 for 4Gb from 7dayshop.com if you want music or photos on it.
