Texing on o2 mobiles in Spain

Hey money saving experts!
Me and my family are off to Spain next week and we intend to keep in contact with eachother when we are not together in our resort through texting, a few of us have the "text and web" tarrif and we were wondering if the 300/500 texts were included through texting to and from our UK numbers in Spain on their local network, (Movistar I am imagining?) as we are texting UK +44 numbers like we would in the UK but the fact we are in Spain was confusing me.
I just want to know mostly if we would be charged or if the SMS' would come out of our free allowances?

You'll be charged - 10p a message. It's the same as if you were texting someone back in the UK.
