    Hello:wave:

I'm at work at the mo. I go to bed with good intentions of getting up at 6am on workdays so that I can fly a little before I commute....but then 6am arrives and eeeeeuggghhhh twirly!!

However I did put out the rubbish and recycling this morning and fed the birds. My robin is looking very straggly too - are they moulting do you think?

DS has phoned me to tell me his AS results: A B D E. Talk about a mixed bag. He's already decided to drop French(D) and resit German (E) and is obviously thrilled with his Psychology(A)and Eng Lit(B) results...especially as Eng teacher only took him on 'on trial' as he got a C at GCSE and she really wanted A and B students.(Childish of me but I'd like to ring her and say 'nerner')

It's frightening to think that this time next year he'll know whether he's got into uni or not. He wants to go to a local uni and live at home....we'll see. He's most put out that I keep saying I'd rather he went a bit further afield and I'll get some chickens to look after, and maybe a cat....and, when I retire,a little dog.

He'll be at his dad's tonight so I WILL get some flying done. Not promising to get up at 6am to continue though....hmmmm. Why does DS have to be absent for me to fly?...he 'lives' in his room and only appears when he's hungry.

Are there subliminal messages on this site? I keep wanting to make a banana loaf and buy a pine kitchen table + benches and live in a house where you can invite people over? Strange!!!

Hugs to those that need them

Carlsberg.. congrats... things will work out one way or the other for DD1.. I'd not been with OH long when I got pregnant.. if they haven't run at the first sign of parenthood they might well be staying! and I'm sure she will be fine whatever she decides (plus it will be less expensive for her as she can blag hand-me-downs from Chloe!!)

    Afternoon all

I've done the bathroom/toilet today. Also one load of washing done (and dry and put away) and I've cut the grass back and front. Lunch cooked, eaten and cleared away.

    Hope everyone's OK.

    Hello all.

I'm still here, if a little brainfogged today.

LadyL I'm so sorry to hear your in a bad place right now.:( I wish there was something I could do to help. I really hope things improve for you very soon. I understand if you're not feeling up to posting, but please don't stay away because you feel you must – I hope I'm making sense, I'm not the world's best with words.:o

Onestep and Grateful I try not to let Mr LW loose in the garden unsupervised, as he doesn't know a nettle from a nasturtium!:D

Mumto5 congratulations to DS1 on passing job trial. You must be one proud mum this week!
Kazmeister congratulations to DS on getting uni place confirmed.

Natty thanks for asking, I'm keeping my head above water, I think.:o Could use being able to sleep at night, rather than during the day, but hey ho. Looking forward to Pip & Pandora arriving tomorrow.:j I have to say, I admire you for doing group therapy; the very idea would have me reduced to a gibbering mass!:eek::eek:

Carlsberggal (((HUGS))) Oh my, your life doesn't get any more straightforward, does it? Don't worry about making what you called a “me, me, me post”. If you can't get it off your chest here, where can you?:o

Roundtuit I too would like to live in a house where I could invite people over.... but if I do manage to get rid of the C.H.A.O.S, does that mean I actually have to have people over?:eek::eek:

lol I was reading about vanilla's naughty boy weeing where he shouldnt before this and then misread this as your DH weeing in your lavender bush - oops :o

Run tickling stick thingy around ceiling and removed 2 cob webs!
Only two? Would you like some of our spiders? I swear they wait for me to put the duster-onna-stick away and then start frantically web-building!:D

Oh i could really use this!! I'm not sure whether to join though - we are currently battling to paint 4 rooms in our house after building work and to get ready for a new baby, who will be here in about 8/9 weeks. I don't know if i've time to do all this too and when baby comes i know it will all go to pot for a few weeks. Mind you, maybe it will help me to stay on track and not feel overwhelmed. Oh i dont know!!! WWYD?
Join, and aim to do Level 1, and if you do any more, consider it a bonus.:o Look at it like this, if you join, what's the worst that can happen, other than Pigpen throws a fluffy mule at you?:D Seriously though, we'd be happy to have you along.:o

Toots how're you doing my friend? Taking it steady and not ploughing through your lll-ooo-nnn-ggg list I hope.:o

Onwards and upwards for me then, I suppose. I can't sit and prevaricate all afternoon, or the spiders'll win!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

LW~ My cob webs are regularly evicted, I cannot stand them, I have a very old Ken Dodd style tickling stick things, ment to be anti dust, but it is so old I doubt that works any more, because I have washed it so often, but it does the job, and means I don’t need a stool or step ladder to reach!! A lot safe when you have cr*p balance like me! I’ll happily come and wave it at your webs if you want!!

Right I am happy to say my office has been ‘flyladyed’ with in an inch of its life! And the bucket of water (well several of them) were disgusting, but job done, took me about 4 hours so good job the office phone has been quite today.
