Thanks for that. I didnt know it was doddgy. Ive looked around on the internet and couldnt find anything on it. A friend of mine has joined and hasnt had a problem with the click income. Do you recon that its not good to use them or would it still find good prices?

If it is deemed to be illegal your friend could be in trouble for promoting it.

Try Google Product/Price Search currently in Beta for good prices.

  • i have downloaded it and it helped me find some good deals for dyson and my new laptop., uggs, perfumes printer cartridges etc ... you dont need to sign up for the business opportunity if you dont want to.. The keycode to the app is only available via a distributor... As for pyramid selling.. its funny how we accept AVON, Tupperware and the like but not something like this.....lol just saying
  • My Shopping Genie give it a wide berth.
  • I think MSE's own Mega Shop Bot (or Google's own system mentioned earlier) will do a better job for free.

There's an ad in our local newsagent's window for this today, and had a leaflet about it before Christmas.

Interesting what Googling "My Shopping Genie " comes up with, options include "uk", "scam", "review", "complaints".
  • I have just signed up as a distributer for this, and am concerned to read all these posts about it being a scam, before I took it on I did a couple of searches which seemed to suggest it`s ok.
After finding out it may be a scam I was ready to pack it in, I have 30 days to get a refund.
I have just found out that Portsmouth Football club have signed up to the Shopping genie, they must believe in it and could not risk their or any of their sponsors reputations if it is a scam. (I have seen the RTE Primetime film)

I would welcome any comments on this, I am trying to find a way to earn some extra cash, but don`t want to reccomend this to any of my friends if it is a scam.
I seems like a good idea and the app that you send out works ok I have tried it, I`m even starting to wonder if this could be dangerous to send to friends.
It must be ok If Portsmouth FC are using it??????

    Any comments would be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Hi guys

Can we politely request you keep it civil on here please. Unfortunately we've had to remove a fair few posts that otherwise would have stayed if you'd said the same in a nicer way.

    Andrea :)

  • The trouble with this type of thing is that those who don't make money could well be those who are scared of making money. It's not a get rich quick scheme. You need dedication and persistence to succeed. Quitters don't get it. It's only multilevel marketing and the product is FREE. Where else can you become a member of a company that uses the internet's own cash generation to cream some of it off for yourself without having to buy tons of 'product' to sell on?
    Be open minded.
