Just checked the post office track and trace thing online, the message reads that the letter has been redirected so it will take longer to arrive, good news then, at least it hasn't gone astray, sounds like it's winging it's way to Santander. Hopefully it'll be an open and shut case, i'm hoping once they read my questionnaire and see that i have a few different reasons for complaint they'll just pay out the money.0

One week on a the Post Office track and trace thing is still giving me the message that the letter is being redirected and will take longe rot reach it's destination. I thought it would have at least arrived by now. Never mind, the wait continues.0

Hiya
I get that as well sometimes, but what you could do is ring the Royal mail and I think there is a section where you can read out your tracking number for confirmation.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Well my track and trace reference number is still giving the redirection message but yesterday i received a letter from Santander acknowledging receipt of my letter (which i sent to GE Money) and it states they will consider my case and contact me within four weeks (or they will write to me within four weeks if they think it will take longer to consider my case). Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, i'm tempted to think it's good because of the fact that they haven't sent a refusal to pay out straight away, but this could just be a generic letter that they send to everyone. I'm still worried that they will say they won't pay for whatever reason. But i did have several points to argue as opposed to just one like some claims. I'm hoping they will decide to refund the charges and hopefully i'll have a cheque within the next four weeks.0

Hi pipsi
Try not to worry, this is standard procedure, and they should get back to you with a decision soon.
See what they come back with and take it from there, remember there are further steps we can take if the worse came to the worse, but I would not worry, all may be okay.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
