Comparing Running Costs of Remoska/Pressure Cooker/Slow Cooker

  • I bought a very cheap slow cooker to try it out, and LOVE it!

Now I know I'll actually use it, I'm going to upgrade to one which is a bit more user friendly (this one is difficult to clean properly, there isn't really a difference between the hi and low settings and the capacity is a bit too big for me as I usually cook for one).

But then I saw the Remoska, and wondered which is more versatile? At the moment I don't have a working oven or hob, so something which I could start browning meat in, or at a pinch, frying bacon or onion would be great. If I can make other things in it, that would be a bonus!

I don't want to get both unless they do completely different things... which do OS peeps think is better?
I have both, love them both, but they are different pieces of equiptment therefore difficult to compare...Although many similar things can be cooked in them.both can cook stews/soups/chicken etc..but only the Remoska can used to bake scones/bread etc too...then again, only the slow cooker could be left switched on cooking for hours and hours unattended while out at work etc.
    difficult choice.
