3 return of phone hassle

Long email bear with me please.
Wonder if anyone has experience this or know what 3 are playing at.
On Thursday 7th Sept. I phoned 3 for an upgrade, they offered Sony eric 608i Phone, I accepted the offer and was told if I don't like it return it before 7 days.
After maybe half an hour I went to mobile shop and saw the phone and wasn't happy with it, specially since I couldn't use an external memory card. So I phoned 3 to cancel the order, I was told when the delivery arrives dnt accept it. I thought that's fine, harmless.
So Friday 8th Sept. waited home, no delivery, in afternoon had a call from 3 offering a Sony Erickson 610i but changing my tarif to higher. I also thought the reason they phoned they cancelled other request. The phone will be delivered on Monday.
Later on in afternoon I went out and when returned our next door neighbour called to stay they had a delivery for me while I was out.
I opened the jiffy bag and it was sony 608I, I didn't open the box, it still has security label on it. Thought will wait till monday now and will sort both phones out.
On Monday waited home till 5pm no delivery, went out and returned 6.45pm. Phoned 3 to say I want to return a phone Sony Eric. 608I. They said I have Sony 610I. I said no, I have Sony 608I, anyway afterward I put through Irish centre, same stuff, they guy was rude... I said I have not had the delivery of 610i. Afterward he said you were sent Sony 608I On Friday.. anyway he says he will arrange a jiffy bag, he went through the procedure, then got disconnected...
Phoned again, I had to go all through above again, this time I was told again I have Sony 610I, I said no, then was told the phone was delivered at 5.17pm, I said no one was home, they said phone was delivered to your address, then I was given a name who signed it, the name was our neigbours, So went to next door (still on phone) got the phone, still in Jiffy bag, I have not even opened.
I was told they will send a jiffy bag for 608I when that is sorted then other phone can be returned.
Waited till Thursday 14th Sept. Still no jiffy bag, so phoned 3, was told it has been sent and I should have it by now, I said I didn't recieve it. I was put through someone else and then was told it can take 5-6 days.
On Friday 15th Sept. Still no bag, phoned again, was told computer system slow they will phone me abt 4pm to explain why I have had no jiffy bag.
Then I emailed 3 explaining all above. Also wrote a letter and post it 1st class.
Had no phone call from 3. I phoned today since still no jiffy bag, I was told the bag was sent on 15th Sept. so wait few days.
Now do you thing 3 are trying to tie me to a contract. 608i is in it's box with security label. 610I still in jiffy bag. Both phone were delivered next door. I just hope 3 might try to say to me that 7 days are over for 610I. But I informed them on Monday 11th Sept. I wanted to return both phones, Also on thurs 14th, friday 15th on phone, email and also letter. Today again on phone.

i had the same problem last year it took 5 weeks for the first return bag to turn up then another 10 or so turned up there a nightmare good luck0
