    There is no such offence as "fraud" on it's own, the term "fraud" is used to describe a number of dishonesty offences.
    The phrase "rip off" is slang, and it has several definitions depending upon the context it is used in.

    Forgetting the pedantic crap though, DSG (that's PCW, Dixons, Curry's, et all) are definately overpriced by a country mile.

    However I would say calling them "rip off" merchants is both unfair and innaccurate, their overheads are miles bigger than the online internet company or pi$$ ant corner shop which means that will be reflected in the final retail price.

    on the subject of uncompetitive currys/dixons/pc world pricing, currys have a 5m hdmi cable for £95!!!
