The following link is a great example of what an Android Smartphone can do and why I'd be selling shares in many electronic and gadget companies (if I owned any), they just won't be able to compete.

Save 110lbs, or 49kg if you are English, by getting the most out of that computer in your pocket.

I can vouch for many of the examples above, most recently the new Wireless Hotspot feature on the HTC Desire with Froyo. On a long journey my car bacame a wireless hotspot,T Mobile coverage meant I got 3G H most of the 6hr journey and internet devices including a laptop and an Ipod Touch kept the passengers happy.

Thank goodness for T Mobiles 3gb allowance.

We've come a long way since simple car journey games, that's progress I guess.
  • Meh, my Nokia E71 can do most of that and it's 2 years old.. I've still not found an android phone i'd like to upgrade to yet.. maybe the HTC Desire Z could be the phone i've got to wait for (if they add a front facing camera to it)
