We don't have a traditional Christmas cake either as only I like it and i'd still be eating it come the summer solstice! Have made rich choc cake in the past and decorated it with Christmas Stars and other pretty bits. This year I've got a gingerbread house kit from Ikea - well 2 actually, it was 2 for £3 and best before date into 2012 so will do next year too. Has all the walls, roof etc in the kit you just need to get whatever sweetie type things and icing to decorate the outside with.
HTH
Do they have the gingerbread houses in now? I've been looking everywhere but cant find one under £150 -
Lakeland have got the gingerbread houses, saw them last week. I did not however see those cookie cutters to make the tree  I have been so good, only been in there twice this year
DP however has just seen the cookie tree and wants to know if we can have one, and as it is at his request I do think it should be his bank card that gets used
Sometimes not moving backwards is as much an achievement as moving forwards is on other times. (originally posted by kidcat)
It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!0 -
