I think it depends on the person.

Some girls build up the anticipation to the wedding that it becomes more about the planning and the other stuff that the actual weddingt.

I would have gone, that girl was horrid. If you go on a programme like that you should be accepting of whatever happens and just want to actually get married at the end of the day.

She was ungrateful and moody. Some of the others were so much nicer, like the HMS belfast girl, the first one that lived in the caravan and the Bristol girl. they were all appreciative and lovely. Last nights girl was a troll.

I think I would, it'd be the kind of wedding my OH would go for I think, he'd also manage to blow the £12000 no problem! I think when you sign the contract then there has to be some expectation that it's not going to be 'your' day, you've also given up a right to use it as a recurring argument by giving him full reins!

I loved the mums comment, 'I thought he was being really selfish but he has thought about her all the way alone' !!!!!!!!! he got the venue, dress and guestlist all wrong :rotfl:

The willy wonka one has been my fave so far

Yeah they were genuinely love and she looked beautiful. My fave is the HMS belfast one. I LOVED that dress and shoes.

    I had to rewind twice to make sure I heard right - she's 24 ?!?!? -
I'd have been more upset for her if I'd liked her more, but I really couldn't warm to her. Although I can't believe that she let everyone else stomp all over the day - her sister at the airport - her freaking husband! Laughing on the DVD when he told them they couldn't all go.
It really was his day, with small allowances for her - "I'll get her a nice dress and she won't care that her friends and family aren't here". Dicking about in the pool with his mate and in the casinos in the evenings.
(I love the Venitian Hotel - the room they were in the night before the wedding is the same as the one we stayed in last year. And their gondalier was ours - lovely Spanish guy, on a fake venitian gondola in Las Vegas) ...

*oh, and Belfast was my favourite too - I just loved that he was thinking of her and I loved that they both had the right attitude to it all. But hated the Registrar being late! Unprofessional!)

, the first one that lived in the caravan .
except the closeness of the best man and the groom was a little odd .. if you didn't know better you would have thought they were getting married

haha yeah, but that was quite cute really, they had a real 'bromance'!! At least he was excited. The best man in the greek girls wedding looked like he was bored out of his brain the whole time!!
  • If my OH booked to got o Las Vegas and get married tomorrow - I would go for it! I would love to know how many of the 100 guests would have been his family and friends? My OH has 10 of the 40 guests the rest are my family! Granted I would take my bro and his sis over his parents but thats beside the point!

I loved the HMS Belfast one! Think it would have been quite cool - apart from the fact that I get sea sick just standing on any sort of boat (been on lots of the ones that do open events in the port near where I grew up) not my thing but would have gone along with it - would need good make-up!
  • I think if it were me personally I would have gone, would still have my mum and dad there after all. But I think for HER he chose the wrong thing, especially since he went on about how important her family are to her etc i dont think he was really thinking about her, more about hitting the casinos!
