Morning all. I'm off work for the week :j Yay! Work on the new kitchen has started today so I'm pleased. Gave up trying to win a kitchen and finally had to go out and buy one instead
:rotfl: Did everyone have a good weekend? x
My thoughts are with you - I had a new kitchen put in last November! It will be worth it though.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

The kitchen currently looks like a complete tip, but it means that it matches the rest of the house perfectly:rotfl:

My kitchen still looks like a bombsite! Would love a new kitchen. Still not put in the second hand one we bought after OH now admits it wont fit properly. (He never listens to me). So still left with half a kitchen ripped out.
Anyway, had a good day today. Went to a fun day and dd got photo with the mayor who was really lovely. On way home I got a scratchcard in the hope to win a car but won £100 instead!
:j Then got a call to say kids had been allocated some free tix to diggerland so we're going this week! :j So apart from the horrible wet weather, been a good day.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

spiders are lovely they eat all the bugs in the house
If one gets trapped in the bath or sink put a towel on the edge of the bath or sink so the spider can climb out. They do not come up through the drain hole that is a 'P-trap' with a water seal in the elbow. What happens is that they are out and about hunting at night and either slip into the bath or are attracted to a drop of water in it and slide down. The poor spider cannot then climb up the slippery sides of the bath and so are trapped. It is a good idea to leave a towel over the edge of the bath at night even if a spider is not in it just in case one should fall in.
Finally, rather than trying to rid your house of these fascinating creatures live with them and enjoy them!
