Hi everyone,

Sun shining away here today! Got loads of washing to get dry after such a wet week so hopefully it is going to stay nice for a while.

Your Friday night sounded as exciting as mine fin. Would have liked to go and see fireworks but there aren't any displays near here. Used to go to Glasgow Green when ds1 was there and have been to Carlisle before too but really like to stay the night when we go. We did see a spectacular display in Majorca in the summer so will have to make do with the memories of that!

Finally won a scarf this morning - really wanted another mirror as the one I won in their last comp was gorgeous! (I'm ungrateful I know)

afternoon compers! i am still fairly new to all this ( 2 months ) and i am trying really hard but still no luck as yet, please send me some of that comping fairy dust that you have! i still belive i can win but my OH is staring to doubt that the amount of time i spend on here is worth it!!!!

Hi kins - welcome. I'm afraid I don't have any fairy dust but I'm sure someone will find you some. Korky usually has loads but haven't seen her for a day or two.

I'm afraid the amount of time we all spend on here isn't usually worth what we win! We really only do it as a hobby but the feeling you get when you do win makes up for it! Good luck anyway and have fun.

Heya everyone and big welcome to new guys and girlies ! Hope everyone is well and got nice plans for this freeeezing cold saturday ! Ive been to Townley with my mum and grandma looking at all their christmas goodies and doing abit of shopping it was nice Soooo annoyed my beloved Burnley FC threw 2 points away - again ! ahh well UP THE CLARETS Looking forward to a nice bit of x factor tonight and a warm bath - bliss. Lol red! I just bought some of that today & didnt win either!
I did get my Joh Freida precision foam hair dye though & got a free voucher for £5 off any boots cosmetics

hiya sheils :wave: sorry not around past few days been so busy with RL/doing puzzlers etc, also had loads of probs with photobucket, keeps saying i've exceeded my bandwidth even though have deleted all the piccies in it :huh:
Painkiller has been helping me most of the day today to learn imageshack to post on here instead of photobucket thanks

think i must disagree with you though you say the time on here sometimes isn't worth what you sometimes win, sometimes i never get the chance to catch up entering the great comps the others post as busy doing the puzzlers/mags/postcard comps for everyone to enter so think every minute i can manage to enter & win, however small/large the prize is i'm really gratefull for the time the op took to post the comp & the time i've had to enter it
