    Hi Martins Doll,

Thank you for you lovely post and signing/following on FB. Same here, I read about Jack the other day and haven't stopped thinking about him since, it's absolutely heartbreaking. It's a very upsetting issue and animal abuse stories haunt me for years, I just hope little Jack gets some justice. Hopefully the lovely compers on here will create more signatures :)

They will sweetie, they are mainly animal lovers who post in 'The Inn'.

I just feel like crying my eyes out for so many thousands of little vulnerable Animals who have died due to neglect/cruelty and abuse by their 'so called' owners...

An Animal is for life, and needs to be protected, loved and cared for well as we know.

  • Your post has me welling up! I couldn't have put it better myself. Jack's case is very sad, it fills you with 'if only's', like if only he was left on my doorstep then maybe I could have helped him. I just can't comprehend how cruel people can be.

MSE was the first place I thought of, so here's hoping Jack makes it in to the news :) Thank you again, it's comforting to know there are like-minded people out there... xxx

Hopefully many folk will send to friends & family to bring this horrific story to light...

I know that I certainly will.

I joined Facebook a few months ago to try and find a friend from the past, but don't have a clue as to how to use the site... :o

I will however follow the story of the little Dog Jack, God Bless his little heart.

Thank you ever so much, it means a lot! I am so pleased MSE users are getting involved, they've done a wonderful job on facebook and the response on here so far has been truly touching. I am also exhausted with the lack of punishment for animal abusers and those who abuse children, money really is more important than life in the eyes of the law. I nearly started crying before giving my little dog a treat because I thought how there was no one there to give Jack one  poor little man... xxx

 I know, it's hard to contemplate what he went through, where he stayed, was he shouted at? was he cold?... That must have been difficult for you to witness, there are some aid charities helping dogs in Africa now which is lovely to see. I just wish people weren't so cruel and were properly punished when they are. x
  • Have signed petition and shared on fb, made me cry that did, shocking. xxx

load of rubbish when they ban them from keeping animals
someone near where i used to live (ages ago) had gone on holiday & locked her alsatian dog in the garage  luckily enough another neighbour heard it continuously barking but knew they'd gone on their hols, in the end they had the dog took of them as it was underfed/in a distressed condition, they were banned from keeping animals but they did have another one :(

    here's another case..
