I appreciate what you are saying Martins Doll.I was quite honest on the thread & offer an apology to one & all for my poor admin.
Have we not all made a mistake at times ,when other tasks divert one.In future I will try to keep on top of my messaging to the BG team.
Can we please move on from this as I feel that the point has been made & I have take taken onboard the information.

Ah well never mind - one oversight in the many many many dupes posted, no - one is perfect.

There are hundreds of dupes posted and so long as there is a note saying it is a dupe and a link to the original given then it's no biggie!

Too much back biting and nit picking going on for this to be as much fun as it used to be imo.

Can I just ask folks to state which BG that they send to with merge requests, as there was a comp which I posted earlier on today and it was still on the board as a dup for 10 hours until I sent a PM to Darren to merge the threads...:eek:

No problem Korky.I usually do state the BG that the pm was sent to.On the thread in question I made a mistake and was diverted away from sorting the admin.I have offered my apology to all & will endeavour to ensure that it does not happen again..
I feel that I contribute to the MSE comps forum in a few different ways & would hate this this small slip should detract from that history of activity.I would add that forum posts can be misconstrued in their intent by the slightest nuance ,a problem which we must all be aware of for fear that are intentions are not taken as intended.All the best.

I really don't think autotrader codes should be posted, again not sure why admin pulled the thread, but autotrader have said clearly all that use mse codes, and they can see where traffic comes from will have entries void, their fb thread will help u track the codes urself, there's enough people on there, alot of msers s well, that help u with each clue xxxx

I'd like to have a go at the autotrader competition - can I wait until ti=he end of the day though and try and solve all the clues at once? I'm just not around to do them as they appear?

I find it hard to believe that you have been criticised so much by making one little mistake,

I feel that that the onus when a dupe is spotted should also be on the OP to amend there post by putting (DUPE) in the title and or DUPLICATED POST in the body of the OP so that nobody duplicates there entries before the thread is merged

and I note that this wasn't done in this instance

keep up the good work weeowen and MD your post's and work on the forum is most appreciated
