Hi, I just wanted to know if most people don't like me posting blog giveaways? If so, I will stop posting them.

A lot of blogs actively encourage people to share their giveaways on dedicated 'giveaway blogs' etc and don't seem to mind as it gives them more publicity too, but recently I have had a few blog writers asking me to remove their giveaways, and I know a lot of people on MSE don't like the fact that on a lot of them your email address is visible when you enter. If I am causing more annoyance to people than anything else I will happily stop and I'm sorry to have caused trouble. (I have noticed a few wins, and I have won from some of these giveaways, also I have noticed those kind of things posted on MSE before I started finding some).

I agree with thingamabob (above). I don't see why you shouldn't post. I don't enter them either tho, so would be helpful to have (blog) in the title, like with the (effort) or (facebook)/(twitter) comps?

    another one agreeing with thingymabob

i enter them when i have time, but when im trying to get as many enetered as possible in a limited time i pick and choose and those that require me to go look at another website then go back and comment i tend to not enter unless its someting i really want. i do like blog giveaways though.

if the blog owners dont want them posted thats their choice...i guess fomr their p.o.v. they want actual readers to enter and win and not people who follow and never actually read anything else, or follow and remove themselves once the giveaway is over.

Hello, hope you dont mind me asking, I would like to ask people to vote for my son on a FB comp - but having a mummy moment I cant find the right place! lol I know there is a dedicated forum/thread, can anyone give me any pointers please?

On the blog comps, I enter them sometimes depending on the prize, I don see why you shouldnt post them as they are a comp. It may be worth emailing the 'promoter' before hand to save annoying them to let them know. I would sell it to them tha they will potentially gain a lot more interest and followers! Perhaps if your email address is going to be displayed you could put a note in your post :)

I appreciate everyones efforts, it takes time to find posts and put them up xxx

Does anyone on here share their monthly stats (if they record this)? E.g. amount of competitions entered, daily time spent entering, prizes won, etc

Hi, thanks for the feedback :) I'll continue to post the ones that I find, but I may check with the blog owners of the smaller blogs before I do so and I'll try to put 'blog' and a warning about visible emails when I do post. Thanks guys, and good luck comping :D

I think its good to post the blog ones, less people enter them so I feel like would have a better chance to win? do you know any blogs that do have list of various giveaways, i googled it but only came across US based ones and you have to be US resident to enter a lot of them, so a uk based one would be handy
