If it's that bunch of moaning women site that has been listed and removed several times over the last few days, it's because self promotion of a site is against board rules. They could get blocked, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are a spam site, just that they need to learn to read.

:T Thanks guys!! I just new it had to be a 'user problem' :rotfl:. I have just found settings I never knew existed. Its like living in a house for years and then suddenly discovering an extra room!!

Wonder if anyone that's a dab hand at Twitter can help me - I used to be able to see any tweets mentioning my twitter name by clicking on the @ just above the direct messages box, but now when I click this, all I can see is a heading "Tweets mentioning @..." but nothing listed. I'm not winning anything anywhere at the moment, so would hate to miss out on a win because I haven't seen it.

just thought I'd post this in here. A while ago someone asked if we could enter comps on both Handbag and All About You websites if they were the same comp but both sites were mentioned in the terms and conditions. I emailed and here's the reply:

Hi Helen,

Thank you for your email and apologies for the delay in responding. You can enter the competition on both sites - as they are separate sites, your entries will not be disqualified.

Happened to me too, but when I checked it had reset the month in my DOB back to MM. Maybe check that as mine went through fine after I'd re-set it...?

Have just checked my Twitter account and there are posts underneath my username @libra10001, so not sure what the problem is. There may be others more knowledgeable who are able to help.

I find Tweetdeck great for using Twitter, you can customise how you like and it seems much more user-friendly. Anyone else use Tweetdeck?
