Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in or not or whether I should of posted into the actual competition in question thread

I've just entered the below comp and had a quick read through the terms and conditions and this is listed as one of the conditions:

Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.

I don't use a form filler as such, just Google Chromes built in auto fill thingy. So my question now that I finally got there! lol... Will this void my entry?? I will post the terms and conditions in the actual comp thread just incase anyone does use form fillers.

  • is it possible to get the expired button to work in regular board as well as on main?

thats a pretty standard term i believe (others will correct me if im wrong) i tajke it to mean things like bots that hunt for comps and enter them for you, or the comping sites that mostly charge and enter hundreds of comps a minute using some computer script or other.

form fillers like google and roboform are fine and havent stopped me winning though i ahve never gone back to look at terms and see if that one was in comps ive won.

You have posted in the right forum! cherubdc

your entries will be fine the reason they put this in there T&C's is because of automated entries from certain competition sites who send automated entries by the thousands please see my post here for further info

  • re postals....the radio comps that currently go in their because they require a text or phone in entry. theyre not basic entry as most require listening to a specific radio show at specific times, often over a few days. i wondered if having a separate thread for them to go in would help ease things in the postal thread a little? would also make them much easier to find again on the day they start or each day to check if there are any you want to try for.

thanks for that, I actually finally understand what they mean now myself, I never realised it could get so bad.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Just been looking at burlesquelegs.com/entries and I am interested in their offer of a break in London.
But the prize is being supplied as vouchers provided by Bonus Bonds. Has anyone every used vouchers from this company?

They are used often by companies for rewarding their employees and i know several people who have used them for purchases. Their website lists retailers you can use the vouchers with.
