This is definately a scam one!
I have however just received an email (or rather OH has) in spam box from dhl saying they couldn't deliver parcel & to pick up from depot. Has anyone else received this? It does seem genuine and no threat was detected but i'm still wary of it.

thats spam...thats a regular one that pops up...normally with spelling mistakes etc check the actual email address the sender.sent from

i get them 3 - 4 times a week same as the halifax bank ones etc
Thank you to all the posters and the forum guides for all your hard work it is appreciated ...

Jan starting off as the year will pan out ...nothing lol

Thanks for your replies lilias, sheils & dontknow1 :) There was nothing in the email that made it look like spam and the email addy looked genuine but when I transferred from spam box to inbox a virus was then detected. It didnt ask for a phone number but to pick up at nearest dhl depot.
Looking at the link lillias gave, someone on there says they work for dhl & they dont email customers normally so I guess it must be spam :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
  • Quick question...

Do you always get an email/phonecall telling you that you have won, or do you ever just get sent a prize?

    I've just seen this comp

    http://www.localberkshire.co.uk/news/roundup/articles/2010/11/05/49226-win-a-reindeer-ride-with-father-christmas/

but it doesn't fit in any particular board - it's not postal/text nor is it online - where would you put it?

I'm not sure if there is a place for it.I often see comps like this in the printed media & tend to just pass them by.Our local county paper often has such as them where tokens are required.I often post comps from The Yorkshire Post but have missed the token comps off here.
I think the need to have the paper would provide limited appeal..........

To be in with a chance of winning, children need to buy a copy of the Observer, colour in the Observer Reindeer, and then visit King Edward Court in Windsor to find five golden letters in the shop windows, which spell out the name of one of Santa’s reindeers.
  • I did post this on the "I won" section, but I thought I would try here in case anyone can help me. I received a call yesterday on my mobile, the line was bad but I appear to have won a shopping voucher from Vision Express. I googled the number and cannot see anything dodgy about the number at all, but cannot find a comp for the life of me.. don't know if it is a general shopping voucher or one for Vision Express only.. Can anyone help me locate the competition? I don't go through Locquax, only enter comps via this site or sometimes Facebook, but nine times out of ten the Facebook ones are linked from here anyway.

Thank you for anyone that takes the time to read this for me x
