There's no need. I never said these flights weren't bargains. There's something equally obvious, which is my point - that's the only thing that's being missed.jprice wrote:I dont want to point out the obvious
They would if the item cost 20p and the postage was £140! :rolleyes:A lot of posts state that something costs £x + p&p, nobody bangs on about not stating exactly how much p&p is.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
Actually, Flybe displays the prices inclusive of taxes, etc...
For example, a single to Amsterdam from Norwich is £29.99 inclusive. It's so much easier when the whole price is shown, rather than such and such plus taxes and other charges. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

It's six of one and half a dozen of another.
Those that do include taxes tend to show one-way fares.
ALL forget to tell you about their CC and Debit card fees though - as if there's a way of sending them the cash and not paying a fee to purchase the tickets!!
So does that £29.99 include CC/Debit charges?? Answer : NO.. It's £1.99 per flight for CC and £0.99 per flight for Debit.
Meaning it's £30.98 (inclusive)!!0 -
some people are thick or un educated and dont know how the industry works
they do have a point though and trading standards have been looking in to this for a while,
Different airports charge different taxes if i remember correctly so its hard to post an accurate price0 -
Surely even before you book the flight you know where you're departing from and arriving at, so the amount of tax is known?Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I think this is a perfectly good way to post the details of this offer and I wish people would stop jumping on post from new members and old ones.
There is no need for it and it is very off putting. The offer posted here highlights what will be for some people a real bargain and will allow them to afford a holiday they may not have otherwise been able to afford. Money Saving !!!!
People should not be so lazy and be prepared to have a little patioence and understanding - some of the people on here will be expecting people who post bargains to go and buy them for them as well !!!Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0 -
gromituk wrote:In that case how do you know if it's a bargain at all?

I'm sorry to upset you. But for every one person posting a pointless price, everyone who reads the posting has to do the work to find out what this translates to. Surely picking some random dates from the site to give a price that is somewhat representative would be better than quoting a figure which means absolutely nothing at all to anyone?
So how does that help? where do you want to fly from to and what dates? it's a website that anyone whos interested can go and look for themselves, perhaps you'd like lhb123 to book your holiday for you, pack and drive you to the airport, but that'd probably be wrong.
Thanks for the notification I didnt know these offers existed so it's helped me out, keep trying, just accept some people cant be helped.0 -
The thing is, yes it might not be 20p all in...
BUT
20p PLUS taxes etc, is still a great deal, compared to normal price of what, a few hundred pounds, PLUS taxes etc.
So if you are looking for a flight, then its still a great deal.
and i believe he did post it on the grabbit board.
So as far as I can tell no problem and les shouldnt be made to feel like he has done anything wrong.0 -
Erm, by telling you roughly how much you will actually pay, rather than underestimating it by a factor of approaching 1000? Is that easy enough for you to understand?2poor4this wrote:So how does that help?
Despite all the protests that it's impossible to work out how much these flights really cost without knowing the dates, the original link only has one result: £145.94 (no doubt plus a booking fee that really is in proportion to this).
At least try to be original with your daft hyperbole :rolleyes:perhaps you'd like lhb123 to book your holiday for you...Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
