It does get pricey once you've added taxes and an in-flight meal, etc, but it still seems a decent deal.DFW Nerd No. 140

I've just realised something. Don't businesses claim back the taxes that they pay?The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0

I believe you're thinking of VAT..and flights are VAT free anyway!!!0

Who seriously expected to get it for 20p all in people?
Get a grip.
Thanks to OP.0 -
No-one - so why waste our time by advertising it as such on the Boards? The only figure of any use is that which we actually pay - thank you to those who have actually provided us with that information.moob wrote:Who seriously expected to get it for 20p all in people?
Get an insult. :rolleyes:Get a grip.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
!!!!!!!
Virtually ALL flights are advertised EXCLUDING TAXES.
eg Ryanair 'Fly to xyz for 1p' etc etc etc
Unlike Ryanair however, I expect the prices for Thomson flights do actually include luggage...
With taxes it's £145.94 return from Cardiff.
It's actually 20p each way, so return is actually 40p
