    i have a speed touch aa898c

most speedtouch routers have the address 192.168.1.254 (into your browser's address bar, and username:- Administrator, Password:- either leave blank or possibly the router serial number off the base sticker to log in.

Then, find the wireless setup page to either retrieve the key or reset it.

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
  • Hi,

sorry if dumb question, have you switched on wireless, you should have a wee icon like whirlygig on front of lappy, on my lappy it's F9, have a look along the F keys.

Have you tried logging into the router as already suggested?

Are you sure that is the router number as a quick search only brings up these pages in relation to it.

You are being encouraged to make Recovery Discs. Do so. You will need two blank DVDs. Choose good quality.

As suggested earlier, the password is stored on a 'web' like page inside the router. Follow the instructions above to get to those pages, connect via cable or wait for your 'computer man. :)
