    • Look into prices for self catering accomodation on Isle of Mull

Oh I LOVE Mull! Have you been before? I know you said self-catering but the most gorgeous campsite is on Fidden Farm! Check out the views: http://www.scottishcampingguide.com/gallery.php?n=194

The button next to quote that's like 2 speech bubbles, then hit quote on one of them and away you go!

    Afternoon All :hello:
Lots of busy-ness going on in the UK then, :p I'm sorry to hear of all your rain. And apparently it is going to continue for some weeks :(

This morning we went to a gravestone unveiling (like a funeral, but with no tears the Pastor described it) in the Township with the other orphanage staff. It was AMAZING! Funerals are big business here and Saturdays is peak time. There were about 20 funerals going on in the same cemetery and we could hear the singing and the drums. We were probably the only white people there :rotfl: When we went back to the house we were treated like guests of honour and the food was scrummy!

When we got home the swimming pool pump had died (the contrast between my life and my colleagues lives never ceases to astonish me) and Popeye has been trying to fix it.

    So today/tomorrow I have/will
    • do some laundry
    • get a wedding present for a wedding we're going to next week :D
    • continue to look for some paid work
    • shopping using meal plan & list
    • 20 mins on the CT
    • spend my Play.com £5 voucher on a Shred DVD - don't tell them on Hypnos thread :o
    • catch up on some e-mails
    • get on with my knitting - time is running out!
    • make lists for stuff to go to the UK - including Christmas presents :eek:etc

Have a great weekend everbody :A
Nice to see newbies and faithful old returners :hello::hello:

Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

  • Hi all. Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. Today I haven't done that much except -
    • Had a low spend day
    • Cooking a nice bit of beef today for tomorrow's dinner - everything from stores
    • Will be making home made pizza as well :D - using the recipe on BBC Good Food website
    • Needed to buy a duvet for winter and got a 10.5 tog one in Argos (their value range that customers gave 5 stars) reduced to only £5.61 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    • Got a present from a friend - jewellery bits and bobs that I will use to make up far more than bits and bobs :D
    • Received my free bag today from Supersavvyme :D
    • Received my energy saving plug as well - no more TV on standby
Quite pleased with all of that actually when it's written down. Looks not too bad.

Hope you all have a good evening

    Bye for now

:j Good work on the multiquote Rachelmk!! 'Tis the small things that make us happy after all :)

I am having clear out issues today - Have 5 pairs of shoes that I want to get rid off - checked out e bay and don't think I'll get much for them and think they'd be a pain in the butt to package and post. What do you guys do with old shoes??? Charity shop? Shoe bin? Rag n' phone man??? There's also a campaign at Clarks with Unicef but just don't know what's best!!

Also now thinking I might keep my dress :o and haven't got round to ebaying my sunnies either... :o
