Evening all
Hope everyone's bright and perky (I like that word too).
I've just been reading the last few pages of posts and it struck me for the first time that the challenge is nearly over! I know i haven't been around that much lately but i had still been imagining that we'd dribble on forever and ever! I do hope that we're going to start again/ carry on next year? I promise to be about more (haha i hope that doesn't put you off lol) In some respects it seems just weeks ago that the challenge began (like money wise as i'm skint) but in others it seems like years ago.
I hope everyone's well, i've lost the link to dribble town, smirkenville, but i like seeing all your facebook updates. And the Wagner parties when i can make themHugs to all xxx

Hi Em!!! Is it snowing in Devon?
Er, Elly not sure if that is a good or bad thing that you thought I would be around lol!!
Have to say I haven't achieved the challenge - and won't! - BUT because of this challenge I have done so many more things this year and met lots of fab people so I am really glad I joined! So what's next years challenge/target?Life is a work in progress0 -
Hey everyone, just thought I'd peek round the door and say a quick hello! Hope you are all doing well and keeping happy. I've no chance of catching up properly but will have a skim through tonight before I go to bed.
I've been busy busy recently, with work taking up lots of my time along with a few other things. I started to visit the comping thread back in September and am now completely hooked - won £250 of Hasbro toys for my nephew and niece that I'm hoping arrive this side of xmas, along with a few other bits and pieces. Absolutely thrilled - they don't know yet but my sis in law had the time of her life picking what they would like.
I've been busy ebaying stuff I bought earlier in the year, although it is still in the region of a few pounds a week and is never going to be a real money earner.
I've been living the frugal life with every penny accounted for and lots of no spend days through the last couple of months. This is not because I'm broke but because I want to pay my mortgage off as soon as possible (hence why I joined you lovely people at the beginning of this year), and it is really working. I have given myself definite goals to achieve over the next few years to try to keep it feeling like a game and I keep having to slap my hand across my mouth to stop myself talking about it to everyone I am with - I think I mentioned before that I do tend to get just a tad obsessive
Oh and I went to Poland for a few days last weekend - what a brilliant, eye opening, thought provoking weekend that was!
Anyway, that's my quick catchup. I'll read through and catch up with you all now.
Take care xx:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0
