Hi all! :) a new thread will be great, are we going to do £11,000 in 2011? Obviously the title will be for catchiness and not for realistic goals but it was fun aiming high in January, would be great to have a new 'push'. I haven't been able to work out any kind of total but definitely have had an amazing year because of this thread and am so happy I know you all now, you're all so funny and lovely and ace! I'm thankful i've met you all..
Still working out this ADD thing so very random and confused still but at least not obsessing on it any more. Knitting scarves for peoples' kids at the minute, I love that I don't have to wait til the kids are in bed to do knitting!
What are everyone's plans for Christmas? I'm going to my dad's as the OH is going to be doing 12 hour shifts looking at krill on a boat in the Antarctic! My sister's new baby will be there so I'll be stealing cuddles which I'm really looking forward to. Kids are really excited about having a 'big family Christmas' lol.
Joey, what were you doing in Poland? and omg that's an amazing prize to win! Well done on your scrimping and saving too :) xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

    Chapter 9
Smirkentree The Village Nativity Play (The final chapter)
Well Christmas started to show it's head with the first flutterings of snowflakes. The local shops were decorating their windows, skint the bakers had mince pie flavoured cupcakes in the window (sorry but i grossed myself out writing that I hate mince pies),and the massage parlour had even decorated the "rabbits" with tinsel.

Nixi was in full flow in the local rag trying to get people to join the local nativity play ,no-one was up for it after the disaster at last years play when they decided to use a real donkey, as it was felt the pantomine horse costume was not in keeping with the seriousness of the nativity .Trust the christians to take the fun out of christmas you would think it belonged to them.

Well back to the donkey, you see every time one of the actors or local villagers as we know them went to say their lines it would bray a huge hee-haw and to think they had thought a pantomine horse was comic .In the end instead of the kids singing away in a manger one of the wee smart alex and we all know whose child it was struck up old mcdonald and the donkey kept in tune with its hee-haws in the right place when old mcdonald had a donkey problem was it did the same for the chicken and cows. A few of the wee frees were very offended ,well all ten of them to be exact and got up to leave ,but that old donkey must have got a whiff of fresh air and the rest of the crowd got a good view of the christian ten pin bowling and that donkey got a strike as it bolted for freedom.

So far Nixi had got no takers for any of the roles so she contacted the local sheriff and asked if anyone had community service to do well it turned out in that strange wee village that year everyone had been at it the charges were as follows
emm drinking in public ,elly drinking in public ,jo drinking in public, nlid drinking in public, munchki drinking in public, cagne drinking in public, hales drinking in public, dilli drinking in public, nixi drinking in public, paulabear drinking in public, mmtwgr drinking in public, mabel drinking in public ,amber drinking in public, babymoo drinking in public, 2 cats drinking in public, joeygrey drinking in public, elle drinking in public, munchki drinking in public, toots drinking in public, hales drinking in public, rosie drinking in public, nikki drinking in public ,skint you guessed it drinking in public ,the list was endless .They were all given 2 hrs community service which was all Nixi needed for the play.

It all stemmed from the night of dancing round the giant merkin wearing sulkie, the local Bobbie had been on holiday and a jobswoth was sent who locked up the whole village .Apart from lilacpixie you see she was pregnant we are all just hoping she delivers soon so that this year we can have a real live baby jesus or lemon pixie (dont know if its a boy or girl yet) as the baby will be called.

    Good Morning Smirkentree x

Hey Paula, Got lots of little orders - but they add up to £340!! and that is only from territory, no friends or family! wowzers - I thought I would struggle to make the minimum order of £78 lol! So not too bad for my first campaign!! Just going through it all now and then going to add my order to it!

Ooh wow, that is good! Are you running two campaigns at once, so you can check the prices against each other in each book? Well done Nixi! :) xx
