hi elly sorry to hear about your ma's o/h - as if she's not got enough to cope with! "jeez wifie if it wiznae fir bad luck you'd hae nae luck at a'"

when are you away to Orkney? are you flying up or getting the Ferry from Aberdeen? have always wanted to take the kids on the ferry with their bikes but DD is at the age now she would tell me to get on my bike. Ours have been off school for the last week so only another one week of them fighting to go. if your driving up give me a shout in the passing
lots of baking to do tonight as have a coffee morning to help out with - this is the last fundraiser this year for our Relay for Life as all the money has to be banked within 6 weeks of the event.

Hi all. sorry i've not been around much, i hope some of you remember me lol. Welcome to any new dribblers :D
I hope everyone's well - i've not had chance to catch up, i somehow lost the link for a while (in more ways than one!! :))
I hope the dribble's still going strong - love to you all x
p.s. Jo - my flowers are still absolutely gorgeous - i had to pull a petal off earlier just to check for certain that they're real! I can't believe how long they've lasted, some are still yet to fully bloom. I do have a pic which i'll post onto fb when i work out how to get it off my phone x
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

Hey Em, glad you've found the link again.lol.
Thats amazing for the flowers. They looked nice on the website but you never know in real life. We have a sunflower that is just flowering now. that seems crazy to me.
How are you enjoying doing your blog. It seems really busy.
Skint we went on the aberdeen ferry to orkney when DD was just starting to walk and she was running round all over the placce holding on to my hands. I think it was being bent down so much while on a rolling ship that did it. boy was I ill!
Was fine on the way back as it was overnight in a cabin and I slept through it fairly calmly.

afternoon all! Well Elly glad you got plastered hope you arent feeling too bad today!
well thats the fundraising finished for Relay for this year but have got a coffee morning to organise for motor neurone in November then thats def it for this year no more fundraising .
Rosie - i dont know where i get the time sometimes have got a craft fair next saturday and need to do a lot of baking for that then a 3 day fair at the end of October with a bit of luck and at least one cake a week until end november then it'll be chritmas decorating cake time- this working full time really interferes with the stuff i enjoy doing lol!!!!,
Elly had thought about the census thingy but dont know if i can be bothered with more paperwork in the evenings - will have a look at that again part of me says go for it and use it for the 11k challenge in 2011 and be more focused and have a better structure for reaching the 11k instead of just plodding on - need to sit down now and focus on the things i know i could have in the pipeline.

EDIT : have started filling in the application form! looked at it when advertised before like the thought it pays £11.87ish an hour for a p/t job!

Elly hope your head doesn't hurt too much! love the idea that you get drunk and espouse the wonders of topcashback and ebay local bargainfinder. just makes me giggle.
Skint I always feel tired just reading what you are up to.
Rosie - hope you are not too tired after your weekend of fun with your DGD. Sounds like you've enjoyed it.
DH at gig again. still will have an extra £110 this weekend so not really complaining but kids are under weather and really missing him.
